1. How long has the WEIMI AI Cooler been on the market?

WEIMI is a trusted vending machine manufacturer headquartered in Guangzhou, China, established in 2016. We are among the few AI vending machine companies that have independently developed proprietary computer vision algorithms. These algorithms are not only deployed in our own machines but are also used by other AI vending machine vendors in the market.

To date, more than 10,000 WEIMI AI vending machines are in operation worldwide. Over the past three years, we have made substantial investments in capital, talent, and computing resources to continuously train and optimize our AI models.

2. How does the WEIMI AI Cooler work?

The WEIMI AI Cooler operates using advanced computer vision technology combined with edge computing and cloud-based AI analysis.

When a customer authenticates payment and opens the cooler door, internal cameras begin recording the entire interaction. The AI system tracks which products are picked up or returned by analyzing visual data such as product shape, size, packaging, and movement patterns. Once the door is closed, the AI model calculates the items taken and automatically generates the transaction.

Orders that the AI model cannot fully confirm with sufficient confidence are flagged for manual video review. Operators can log into WEIMI’s mobile web application to review short video clips and confirm the final transaction. This hybrid approach ensures both high accuracy and operational reliability while maintaining a frictionless, checkout-free customer experience.

3. How accurate is your AI Cooler?

The overall system accuracy is approximately 99.8%

* About 60% of products are identified fully automatically by the AI model, with an error rate of approximately 2%

* The remaining 40% of transactions are reviewed through manual video verification to ensure correctness.

In addition, abnormal behaviors—such as camera obstruction, product damage, or placing unauthorized items inside the cooler—are flagged as abnormal orders and also require manual review by the operator.

4. Have you exported to foreign markets?

Yes. Since mid-2025, WEIMI has exported approximately 200 AI Coolers to the United States and 50 units to European countries. Prior to that, the primary market for our AI Coolers was mainland China.

5. What payment processors do you support?

The WEIMI AI Cooler is currently compatible with Nayax and PAX card readers. We are open to integrating additional card payment processors based on customer requirements.

6. Are there any fees to use the AI Cooler?

Yes. The pricing structure is as follows:

USD 0.05 per transaction as an AI recognition fee

USD 5 per month for the SaaS cloud platform, starting from the second year

Optional IoT SIM card services, with data fees varying by country (please contact our sales team for details)

7. Does the machine require an Internet connection?

Yes. A stable Internet connection is critical for optimal operation.

The AI Cooler supports:

* Wi-Fi

* SIM card

* LAN cable

We strongly recommend using a SIM card, as it typically provides the most stable and reliable connection.

8. What is the energy efficiency of the AI Cooler?

Single-door AI Cooler: approximately 3.8 kWh per 24 hours

Double-door AI Cooler: approximately 7.6 kWh per 24 hours

9. Can the same machine have both refrigerated and non-refrigerated compartments?

No. Currently, mixed-temperature compartments within the same machine are not supported.

10. Do you offer a freezer version?

Yes. WEIMI provides ambient, refrigerated, and freezer AI coolers. The freezer version can reach temperatures as low as–22°C, while maintaining low energy consumption.

11. Can the machine play videos?

Yes. Each AI Cooler is equipped with a top display that supports video and image playback. Content can be uploaded and managed remotely by the operator.
